November 2011 - Thank you! Here's what we've accomplished, with your help!

Dear Power of Love Friend:

We would like to say a big "Thank you" for your encouragement and support for our work in Zambia and India. In 2011, with your support we were able to:

1. Provide food, medicines and a package of life saving health care services (weekly visits from the health care worker/Nurse, psychosocial counseling, adherence training and monitoring, peer counseling, and education in HIV prevention for older children) to 150 HIV positive children in Zambia.

2. Provide small loans and business training to 50 women "entrepreneurs" in Zambia. Some of the businesses started by the new loan beneficiaries include groceries, used clothes/handbags, cell phone chargers/covers, dressed chicken, died fish, and pop corn stands. In addition, we continue to monitor 100 businesses started in 2010.

3. Provide 2000 malaria bed nets and education on prevention of malaria to children and women vulnerable to Malaria in Zambia.

Together these programs benefit 5000 people directly and an additional 3000 people indirectly to help them lead close to normal lives. Every bit you give creates a tremendous impact.
