These grandmothers often find themselves with 5-10 grandchildren and little means to feed and clothe them. We help structure small loans to give them an opportunity to start a small home-based business. The next grandmother receives the same $125 when it is repaid. The payback rate is astonishingly high (>92%) for an environment with a high HIV/AIDS prevalence .
