August 2020 - COVID Can Double Malaria Cases in Africa

Dear Friend: Hope you are staying safe from Corona virus. This virus has had a disproportionately higher impact on low income populations and countries. According to WHO, COVID can lead to a doubling of malaria deaths in Sub-Saharan Africa. With the virus spreading rapidly, the health of young children, people living with HIV, and pregnant women is at increased risk. In order to keep these populations safe from malaria, we provided 5,000 long lasting insecticide nets and education on COVID prevention in malaria endemic areas in Zambia.

Our goal is to provide an additional 7000 nets this year to benefit a total of 48,000 children or 24,000 adults. Your donation of $10 can prevent malaria for a family of two adults and four young children. Please donate generously as every dollar helps saves lives. And as always, 100% of your donations go towards programs and no part is used for overheads.
