Dear Friend: Happy June! Here is heartwarming news that will make you smile. With a generous grant from an anonymous donor and partnership with Greenway Appliances, an innovative project was launched in impoverished neighborhoods in Zambia. Clean cooking stoves along with education on proper use will be provided to 20,000 vulnerable families. These stoves have minimal carbon footprint, cook food faster, use less fuel, and are almost smoke free. Families will see an improvement in health due to less smoke inhalation, save money on fuel, and could use these stoves as an income generating asset.
