March 2021 - Thanks for Keeping Vulnerable Families Malaria Free

Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy March! In Zambia, transmission rates for malaria are high throughout the country. To keep vulnerable families malaria free, 3,000 insecticide treated nets were provided in rural and urban areas in Zambia. Nets provision was preceded by a demonstration and education session, and all activities were completed in a safe manner. Families with young children, children and adults living with HIV, older people, people suffering from TB, and pregnant women were given priority as these populations are the most vulnerable.

Our goal is to provide 12,000-15,000 long lasting insecticide treated nets this year. This will benefit 20,000-40,000 adults and children as each net can sleep up to four young children or two adults. Please donate generously so we can keep vulnerable families malaria free and children in school. Every dollar counts. And, as always, 100% of your donations go towards programs and no part is used for overheads.
