September 2025 - Six Hundred Women Will Receive Entrepreneurial Training This Fall

At Power of Love, we believe that when women thrive, families and communities do too. Research - and our own 20 years of experience - shows that a woman’s health and economic independence creates ripple effects that last for generations. This fall, 600 women enrolled in our microloans program will complete entrepreneurial training. They will be ready to launch or grow businesses ranging from hair salons and groceries to selling school jerseys, live chickens, and more

Over the past two decades, your support has helped us provide more than 2,500 loans and fuel over 2,000 successful businesses. Here’s what we have seen again and again:

Food security improves quickly. Many women move from one meal a day to 2-3 meals a day in a matter of months.

Women build assets. They expand businesses, add a room to their homes, or rent land for farming.

Savings grow. Opening a bank account is often a first step toward financial security and independence.

Confidence rises. Within a year, many women shift from selling a few items at home to renting a shop in a bustling marketplace.

Equally important, our microloans program is not stand-alone. It is woven tightly into our health and education programs. In the slums where we work, poverty, health, education, and safety are all interconnected - so our approach must be too. That’s what makes the impact of your support so powerful.

Your generosity does more than fund loans. It helps create entrepreneurs, community leaders, and role models who lift others up. And as always, every dollar you donate goes directly to our programs - never to overhead.

With gratitude,
