Key Program Activities and Impact in 2017
Over the last ten years, this program has grown, matured, and continues to provide a comprehensive package of lifesaving health care services to 350 HIV+ children and their families in Zambia. Key program activities completed in 2017 are given below:
With your support, we are seeing a reduced incidence of HIV in our community, and fewer new HIV infections especially amongst children born to HIV+ moms. A critical element of our pediatric HIV care program is the training in HIV prevention and care provided to families of all 350 HIV+ children.
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy new year! Here is a piece of wonderful news to kick start 2017. In sub-Saharan Africa, new HIV infections, and the spread of HIV is at its lowest level to date.
Dear Power of Love Friend: The Power of Love team extends a personal and heartfelt thank you for your dedication to prevent the spread of HIV, take care of children living with HIV, and empower women to become first-time entrepreneurs. 2016 was an extraordinary year; with your help, we provided a broader set of services to a large and growing number of families in Zambia and India.

Mother's Day is May 12 - give a gift of a healthy baby to a Mom in Zambia. The Power of Love team would like to thank its friends and donors who have supported our pediatric HIV care program in Zambia. With generous support from donors, we have been able continue to improve the lives of several hundred children and families impacted by HIV, AIDS, and malaria.
