Can Malaria be eliminated from Zambia: Zambia has set a lofty goal of eliminating malaria by 2021, even though malaria transmission rates continue to be high in all parts of the country. According to the USAID, this goal is ambitious, but within reach.
Together We Can End AIDS
We can end AIDS: The UN has set a goal of ending AIDS by 2030. This can be achieved if 80%, (current number is 59%) of all people living with HIV are on treatment.

We Play and Learn Together During "Safe Park" Activities
Why "Safe Park"? Zambia is one of the poorest countries in the world with an overwhelming 1.2 million orphans in a population of just 16.7 million. Most orphans live with extended families, grandmothers or older siblings and face disease, abuse and neglect.

October 2017 - A Haven for Orphans and Vulnerable Children
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy October! In Zambia, this is the start of the summer season. Orphans and vulnerable children from our community of Matero, in Zambia, enjoy playing and learning with us on Saturday mornings.
Orphans and Vulnerable Children Are Learning in a Safe and Fun Environment
Children enrolled in our "Safe Park" program are battling the devastating effects of poverty, abuse, HIV, and AIDS. Many have lost parents and family, experience deprivation and abuse, have been stigmatized, and suffer overwhelming grief.
May 2017 - Saturday Mornings are for Learning and Fun
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy May! As children in our hemisphere are getting ready for summer, children in Zambia are starting to take out their warm clothes to prepare for winter. In addition, children from the community of Matero look forward to Saturday mornings when they can participate in Power of Love's "Safe Park" program.
