Why "Safe Park"?
We are growing educators and leaders? Over the last 2-3 years, we have been encouraging older children to lead workshops during our weekly educational games and activities program.
Can Malaria be eliminated from Zambia: Zambia has set a lofty goal of eliminating malaria by 2021, even though malaria transmission rates continue to be high in all parts of the country. According to the USAID, this goal is ambitious, but within reach.
We can end AIDS: The UN has set a goal of ending AIDS by 2030. This can be achieved if 80%, (current number is 59%) of all people living with HIV are on treatment.
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy Mother's Day to women all around the world.
Why "Safe Park"? Zambia is one of the poorest countries in the world with an overwhelming 1.2 million orphans in a population of just 16.7 million. Most orphans live with extended families, grandmothers or older siblings and face disease, abuse and neglect.
Thank you for working with us to provide a safe and happy environment in which orphans and vulnerable children can play and learn. Today we would like you to meet one of the children who have benefitted from your support over the past year.
